Jefferson County Public Schools is providing transportation for all high and some middle schools to the 2010 Showcase of HBCU event. This years Showcase is being held at the Muhammad Ali Center. Parents, if you want your student to attend please call their school counselor and she/he will be able to provide you with more information!
The Showcase of HBCU has just rolled out on another stage of its endeavor to spread its message and reach out to the communities. The Showcase of HBCU newsletter was recently sent out containing information on this years Showcase event. Some very important information regarding transportation for Jefferson county. Along with the classes that will be provided at the Pre-College Conference, and a list of the schools that will be attending the College Fair. Every Showcase event provides opportunities for college bound students. Not only with the opportunities to meet with college representatives, and learn about their schools, but also with the opportunity to gain some very beneficial information. These classes are designed to help students learn more about the process of becoming a college student, gaining admission and receiving financial aid.
